Pat & John have worked together since 1984, and have appeared in theatres and at festivals all over the world. Their unique mixture of virtuoso playing and slick comedy have won them thousands of fans. John A. Sampson plays 11 different wind instruments, and is master of them all! Patrick James O´Connell is also a multi-instrumentalist and sings in 5 different languages and over 3-and-a-half octaves. Pat & John are often asked what kind of music they play. There is only one answer to that (echoing Duke Ellington) : "good music". For them there is no deliniation between "serious" music and "entertainment".
